William Joseph Farmer, 88, Sebastian, FL., passed away on January 9, 2013 at Sebastian River Medical Center, Sebastian, FL.
Mr. Farmer was born on June 19, 1924 in Iowa Park, TX. He has lived in Sebastian, FL., for the past 21 years coming from Elgin, IL.
He served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion, Sebastian, FL., and the Moose Lodge, Sebastian, FL.
Mr. Farmer was a retired Firefighter for the City of Elgin, IL. He was also a member of the Roseland United Methodist Church, Roseland, FL.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years; Phyllis Farmer, Sebastian, FL., Sons; Michael Farmer, St. Charles, IL., Jeffrey Farmer, Palm Springs, CA., and Daughter; Diane Bales San Diego, CA., 3 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
