William F. "Willie" Render, 81 died Wednesday October 22 at home surrounded by family.

He was born and raised in Louisville Kentucky to Shirrelle and Mildred (Booth) Render where he worked for 30 years with the Louisville Fire Department, retiring as a captain. He moved to Sebastian in 1984 and worked for the Sebastian Police Department for 8 years as a police officer and detective before finally retiring in 1994.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 36 years, Vera "Buddy" and 7 children: Cindy (Ricky) Clawson- Jefferson, PA; Karen (Gary) Smith- Canonsburg, PA; Gary (Barbara) Render-Ocala, FL,; Vicki (Steve) Francis-Moon Township, PA; Mark (Jill) Render- Bethel Park, PA; Michelle (Dane) Morris- Sebastian, FL; Jimmy (Kimberly) Gambino- Bonnieville, KY; 14 grandchildren-John, Gary, Kristen, Amanda, Hanna, Mark, Timmy, Bobby, Justin, Elizabeth, Kourtney, Dane Jr, Ryan and Adyson; 8 great-grand children with the ninth due any day. He will be missed by his entire family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by both parents and two brothers, Jack and Bud Render.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Sebastian Catholic Church 13075 US Hwy 1, Sebastian, FL. 32958 on Wednesday October 29 at 11am.
