Obituary
Windell Lee Hooker, age 73, of Sebastian, FL, passed away on April 28, 2021 after an extended illness.
He was born to the late Sammie Hooker and Doreen Hayes on February 16, 1948 in Ocala, Florida.
He served as a Firefighter in Indian River County for 31 years and he retired in 2003. His hobbies included fishing.
Windell is survived by his brother, Roy Lee Hooker, and sister, Frances Ann Hooker, as well as his children, Samuel Hooker, Chad Hooker, Stephanie Stone, Raymond Hooker and JC Hooker. He also had seven grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to VNA Hospice of Indian River County.
