Winifred (Winnie) Merle Sova

Sebastian, Florida – Winifred (Winnie) Merle Sova, 95, of Sebastian, Florida (formerly Cheboygan, Michigan) joined her Lord, and was reunited with her beloved husband Clarence Sova in Heaven on Sunday, November 21, 2021.

Winnie was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 14, 1926 and was the daughter of Clarence and Gladys Archambo. Winnie and her family later moved to Cheboygan, Michigan and they resided at the Black Lake Hotel. While living in Cheboygan, Winnie met and later married Clarence Sova, the love of her life, on February 9, 1948. Together, they welcomed four children into this world.

Winnie's very favorite people called her wife, mom, nana, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Winnie adored her family, friends, the Catholic Church, Atlanta Braves Baseball and the casino.

Winnie was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Sova, her father Clarence Archambo, her mother Gladys Archambo, her sisters Agnes Archambo, Glady Archambeau and Marie McKee, as well as her brothers Clarence Archambo and Leroy Archambeau.

Winnie is survived by her four children, Rick (Beth) Sova, Bobby Jo (Roger) Sarrault, Tom (Sue) Sova and Lori Sova, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, two brothers, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Per Winnie's wishes, a funeral service will not be held. A small graveside service will be held in Florida, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that anyone who would like to make a donation in Winnie's memory, to please consider their local Hospice House.
